Eagle Mountain Assembly of God

Bulletin Notes for July 25th 2010

Next Sunday Night

Our Sunday evening Discipleship Hour is kicking off a new DVD series next Sunday

evening. This informative series addresses questions about the age of the earth, dinosaurs,

the

origin of man, why evolution is wrong, and so much more. Due to the nature of the

material,

we are including our youth in these studies because they regularly face the challenge of the

theory of evolution in the public schools. It all begins next Sunday evening - don't miss it!

Classes for lower elementary/preschool, and upper elementary are also available and all meet

from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Missions Emphasis Today!!

Today is our annual missions. Please note in this bulletin the Faith Promise card and the list

of missionaries we support each month. The Faith Promises will be collected in both the

morning and evening services today. Please prayerfully consider how much you can give to

missions in the next 12 months. Your pledge enables us to make pledges to our missionaries.

The missionary list is for your information and for use as a prayer tool. Our support is not

just financial - we believe that prayer changes things!  Use this sheet to pray for our

missionaries by name.

Missions Meal Tonight!

This evening at 6:00 PM we will be enjoying our annual missions meal downstairs. This

multicultural meal is potluck style, and we are encouraging ethnic food dishes, although

American food is more than welcome too! We want to start eating as close to 6:00 PM as

possible, so plan to bring your food dish anywhere from 5:30 PM on.  We will have a guest

speaker tonight - Missionary to Nepal Brandon Arneson!  This will be a fun evening - please

make plans to participate, and wear an ethnic costume if you have one!

Do You Love Children?

Kaylia Hanke is off to Central Bible College next month, and while we are glad for her

calling, we are losing a good Sunday school teacher. Kaylia has faithfully served our

preschool class (ages 3 to 5) for a couple of years now, and has been a great blessing. If you

are interested in being a Christian educator of preschoolers, please contact Pastor Darin. This

class meets each Sunday morning from the mid-point of the service to the conclusion.
